Jens has extensive experience as a consultant in management and organisational development, and has many years of management experience as the head of "Konsern Lederutvikling" (group management development) at Statoil. He has a background in both public and private business, and spent several years working in ministries, and as an emissary for Kirkens Nødhjelp and the United Nations in Africa.
Applying his specialist expertise in management and organizational development, Jens has worked extensively with the design and implementation of management and organizational development processes at individual, group and system levels, both nationally and internationally. Jens works with business-based management development, with a focus on high-performance management teams. In his work developing managers, Jens focuses on creating a good balance between organisational framework conditions and visions and goals, and on establishing an effective intersection between task, person, and system.
As both a person and adviser, Jens is engaged, and listens with a genuine interest to truly get to know the people he meets. Jens completed an official exam in pedagogy and psychology from Denmark University of Education (DPU), and has studied gestalt psychology through GIC, Ohio. He is fluent in English, Danish and Norwegian.
