Effective change processes first require that the change is perceived as important. Humans like predictability, and changes can be stressful for us - to accept changes, we need to understand why they are being made. Next, the change being made must be perceived as correct, in other words, as the right alternative for solving a given problem. Lastly, the change process itself must be perceived favourably.

A change proposal may look good on paper, but if employees are not prepared to adapt, you will not get the results you want.
