Cecilie Thorsen is a licensed specialist in clinical psychology and in substance abuse and dependency. She has developed a unique expertise within leadership coaching and support, communication to manage conflict, bullying and whistleblowing in the workplace. She is also experienced advising on media relations. She has broad experience working with employees and leaders in both individual and group settings, as well as clinical psychology and in advisory roles.
She has years of insight into how whistleblowing can cause enormous consequences for both the employer and employees, and actively participates in the public debate and educational systems. Cecilie has collaborated with the Governmental Whistleblowing Committee, Labor Inspection Authority, the Norwegian Police Department, the National Directorate of Police, College of Western Norway, BI Masters program in Organizations and Leadership.
Cecilie is often the first choice in whistleblowing cases. She’s done extensive work in developing a conceptual framework and course series on dialogue and cooperation, for the Norwegian Military, among others. Cecilie is passionate about her work and is an experienced communicator with an engaging delivery style that leads to far-reaching insights. She is an associated senior consultant with Bjørnson. Her main interests lie in promoting brave collaboration, assisting clients in understanding the factors that hinder and contribute to a constructive dialogue and effective collaboration.
